| One of the best things about being on home assignment is getting to spend time with friends and family. A couple of Sundays ago we were at Hood Canal Community Church for the morning service and were blessed to spend time with the Endicott family. We enjoyed going on an afternoon outing with Lucy. | It was raining when we left the house, but as Lucy said that if we went high enough in elevation, the rain would turn to snow. |

We all enjoyed being cold for a few minutes and then were happy to head down to lower elevations.

| We traveled to the far end of Lake Cushman and visited Staircase, Olympic National Park. |

At the park we looked back up into the moutains and enjoyed the setting sun shining on the new snow.
Then we headed back down the mountain to spend a great evening with our friends at Family Bible Fellowship.
